Why Black Label

Two detailers. One standard.

Black Label is Seth and Will. Seth built Detail and Design in Newberg. Will built Will's Auto Detailing on the coast. Each of us earned a following one driveway at a time, and when we compared notes we found we worked the same way: by hand, without shortcuts, and without rushing the last half hour of the job.

So we put both businesses under one name. Same services, same prices, same checklist, whether your car lives in Yamhill County or a few blocks from the beach.

For you, that’s simple. The person who texts you back is the person who shows up. Paint is washed by hand, wheels get their own tools, and interiors are cleaned surface by surface rather than wiped over. If your paint needs more than a detail can give it, we’ll say so instead of selling you a coating it isn’t ready for.

We’re not the low bid in either town, and we’ve stopped apologizing for it. The prices are on this page so you can decide before you text.

The work

What a full detail actually involves.

  1. Detailer in a blue shirt rinsing a classic black BMW with a pressure washer
    01

    Foam and rinse

A thick pre-wash foam loosens grit before a mitt ever touches the paint. Then it’s rinsed away.

  2. Detailer in orange gloves scrubbing a BMW wheel with a brush beside a wash bucket
    02

    Wheels on their own

Wheels and tires get separate brushes and their own bucket, so brake dust never ends up on your paint.

  3. Detailer wiping down cream leather seats inside a classic BMW
    03

    Interior by hand

Every surface is cleaned, then conditioned. Carpet and seats are shampooed, not just vacuumed.

  4. Gloved hand wiping a wooden BMW shift knob with a microfiber towel
    04

    The small things

Shift knobs, door jambs, vents and seams. The places you only notice when someone skips them.

Reviews

In our clients’ words.

“There isn't a better option in Oregon than William! Very professional and passionate about his craft! Any car that I bring with him always gets luxury treatment and there's nothing better than feeling like your car is brand new and ready for the next adventure! Genuinely a service you won't regret!”

Jose F.Lincoln City

“Had Seth do full details on my BMW M4 and 335is. He came to me, brought his own water and power, and both cars came out better than when I bought them. The interiors look new and the paint is glossy.”

Zahar R.Newberg

“Will details my car once a month and always does an amazing job. I've always hand-washed my big vehicle because I care about keeping it spotless inside and out, but I got tired of doing it myself. Will's attention to detail is incredible, from the interior to the rims. The car looks brand-new every time. Highly recommend Wills Auto Detailing!”

Ha F.Lincoln City

“Seth and Will did a great job on my old Buick. I had parked it under a tree that dropped sap all over it. They were very knowledgeable on how to get the pitch off without damaging the paint. Good hard working young men. The car looks better than it has in years.”

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Where do you do the work?

At your home or your workplace. We’re fully mobile, so there’s no shop and nothing to drop off. If you have permission to have the work done there and we can reach the car, we can detail it.

How long does each service take?

For a car in normal condition: an Exterior Detail takes about an hour, an Interior Detail about 2 hours, and a Full Detail 3–4 hours. Ceramic coating times vary with the vehicle and the paint. Larger vehicles and heavier jobs take longer, and we’ll give you a time when you book.

What does “starting at” mean?

It’s the price for a standard car in normal condition. Trucks, third-row SUVs and vans, heavy pet hair, sand, mud or stains that need extra time can raise it. You’ll always hear the final price before we start, never after.

What happens if it rains?

If rain, wind or temperature would affect the result, we’ll text you as early as we can and move your appointment to the next good day. Rescheduling for weather never costs you anything.

How do I pay?

Venmo, cash, card or check. No deposit is required, and payment is due when the job is done.

How do I book?

Text or call the team nearest you: Newberg at (971) 287-8846 or Lincoln City at (541) 921-2576. Send your vehicle, your town and what you’d like done. Photos help, and for paint correction they’re how we price the job.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule?

Please give us at least 48 hours’ notice. Late cancellations and no-shows may be charged a fee.

How do I look after a ceramic coating?

Hand wash with a pH-neutral car soap, skip automatic brush car washes, dry with a clean microfiber towel, and don’t let bird droppings or tree sap sit on the paint. Wait before the first wash; we’ll tell you how long for your coating, and walk you through the rest when we finish.

Do you detail trucks, SUVs and RVs?

Yes. Bigger vehicles take more time and product, so the price goes up from the starting rate. Text us what you drive and we’ll quote it.
