What it does

Gloss that lasts. Washes that are easier.

A ceramic coating is a liquid layer that bonds to your clear coat and hardens. It’s a long-term step up from wax.

What you get

  • Deep, wet-looking gloss
  • Water that beads and sheets off
  • Dirt, bugs and grime that release more easily
  • Protection from UV, road film and contaminants

What it won’t do

  • Stop rock chips or deep scratches
  • Replace regular washing
  • Hide swirls already in the paint (that’s why every package is corrected first)

The process

Correct first, then coat.

The paint is washed and prepped so the coating has a bare surface to bond to. A one-step machine polish removes light swirls and haze. The coating goes on panel by panel, and we walk you through aftercare when we finish.

How long it takes

Times may vary.

It depends on the size of the vehicle and how much work the paint needs before it’s coated. Text us photos and we’ll give you a time when you book.

Near the coast

Salt is the reason.

On the coast, salt film and constant moisture are hard on paint. A coating makes them harder to stick and much quicker to wash off. More on the Lincoln City page.

FAQ

Ceramic Coating questions.

What’s the difference between the 3-year and 5-year coating?

How long the protection is rated to last. Both include the same one-step paint correction first. The 5-year is the better pick if you plan to keep the car a long time.

Why is paint correction included?

A coating locks in whatever is under it, including swirls. The one-step correction cleans up the paint first, so you’re sealing in a better finish.

Does a ceramic coating stop scratches and rock chips?

No. It adds a hard, slick layer that makes the paint easier to keep clean and glossy, but it won’t stop rock chips or deep scratches.

How do I look after a ceramic coating?

Hand wash with a pH-neutral car soap, skip automatic brush car washes, dry with a clean microfiber towel, and don’t let bird droppings or tree sap sit on the paint. Wait before the first wash; we’ll tell you how long for your coating, and walk you through the rest when we finish.
